Associate Actuary (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze and forecast financial, economic, industry, and market data for strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop financial models with Market and Finance teams.
• Establish metrics and provide analyses supporting business intelligence.
• Validate and review current processes for accuracy and completeness.
• Model the financial impact of Risk Arrangement contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries.
• MAAA designation.
• At least five years of actuarial experience in any specialty.
• Ability to work remotely from a dedicated space with internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Nice to have

• Experience with actuarial modeling.
• Experience with SAS or SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience with risk arrangements.
• Medicare or Medicare Advantage experience.
• Strong communication skills.
