Sr. IT Project Manager (PMP)

Location: Must be based in Arizona, United States. Hybrid position with travel and onsite requirements for team or client meetings.

Salary: $78,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale IT projects and coordinate project teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project deliverables, status reports, technical reviews, and other work products.
• Develop and maintain project plans, communication plans, risk plans, stakeholder registers, and resource plans.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and organizational change management activities.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies across operations, infrastructure, and application development projects.
• Support business development, proposal development, and IV&V activities and reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in Arizona.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• At least 5 years of overall IT industry experience and 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience using both Agile and Waterfall techniques on IT projects.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Project.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Arizona state agency or state healthcare, labor, and child support experience.
• Experience with risk management, IV&V, and organizational change management.
• Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Knowledge of state-administered service delivery systems and complex federal regulations.
