DevOps Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona; hybrid work model. Candidates must independently possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Base pay in Phoenix, Arizona: $85,000–$105,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management patterns.
• Develop CI/CD automation and containerized application infrastructure using modern cloud and orchestration technologies.
• Analyze failures and bugs, tune automation pipelines, and improve infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Monitor environment health, resolve issues, and support UAT and production applications.
• Collaborate with end users and partner teams to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions.
• Write technical specifications, participate in design and change-management processes, and support risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications and 2–5 years of DevOps, software engineering, or related experience.
• Linux troubleshooting experience and the ability to use Unix/Linux command-line tools and create or edit scripts.
• Knowledge of configuration-management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration, including Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Availability for different schedules as part of an on-call rotation; background and drug screening are required.
