Senior Analyst – Fixed Income Investments Technology

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to three days per week from home

Base salary: $96,500–$164,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, Quants, Investment Analysts, and engineering teams across global fixed income organizations.
• Define business cases, product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items for portfolio management capabilities.
• Translate investment needs into scalable cloud-first technology solutions and support agile delivery.
• Analyze portfolio management workflows, identify automation opportunities, and improve operational efficiency and investment outcomes.
• Investigate data quality, functional, and quantitative issues related to portfolio analytics and investment workflows.
• Support prototypes and analytical approaches for complex business rules and calculation methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience as an analyst, business analyst, product analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience gathering requirements, prioritizing work, and supporting delivery across business and technology teams.
• Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot functional or quantitative issues in portfolio analytics or related investment workflows.
• Strong communication, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL, Excel or Access data manipulation, and Jupyter notebooks is preferred.

• Experience working with Portfolio Managers and Trading teams.
• Experience with portfolio management and trading platforms.
• Systems analysis or data analysis experience supporting front-office investment functions.
• Knowledge of macroeconomic and financial markets, particularly asset management.
