What you will do

• Drive the design and delivery of Portfolio Construction features from concept through release.
• Write clear functional and technical specifications for engineering.
• Partner with engineers during implementation, clarify requirements, and make real-time product decisions.
• Translate complex investment and portfolio construction workflows into buildable requirements.
• Test new features, guide QA test planning, and prioritize edge-case coverage.
• Diagnose high-severity support issues and coordinate resolution across teams while supporting client and sales workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a product or technical role within finance or technology, ideally in investment management or a related software vendor.
• Advanced Excel skills, basic scripting ability, and sufficient coding fluency to communicate with and direct developers.
• Knowledge of hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction, trade workflows, and trade allocations.
• Understanding of beta, the greeks, fixed income, duration, interest rate risk, FX, and cash management.
• Familiarity with Agile product practices and hands-on Jira experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written specification, and verbal communication skills.
