What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and operations for oncology clinic technology, including EMR, practice management, radiation oncology, imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and revenue cycle systems.
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap to consolidate on-premise infrastructure into cloud-hosted, vendor-hosted, and SaaS platforms.
  • Lead revenue cycle technology across charge capture, coding, claims, denials, payment posting, patient financial experience, and EMR-to-RCM integrations.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, incident response, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across clinic systems.
  • Oversee interoperability using DICOM, HL7 v2, FHIR, and modern APIs to support unified patient records and enterprise analytics.
  • Lead AI and analytics adoption, vendor relationships, practice integrations, M&A technology workstreams, budgets, and a distributed clinic systems organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 7+ years leading clinical and revenue cycle technology across distributed healthcare environments.
  • End-to-end ownership of oncology or multispecialty EMR ecosystems, including practice management, clinical documentation, orders, results, and integrations.
  • Experience with Varian ARIA/Eclipse or Elekta MOSAIQ/Monaco, PACS/VNA, multimodality imaging, laboratory information systems, and oncology pharmacy systems.
  • Experience migrating clinical, imaging, and revenue cycle workloads to Azure, AWS, GCP, vendor-hosted, and SaaS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability, AI governance, HIPAA, HITRUST, identity and access management, audit controls, vendor risk, and incident response.
