Associate VP, CenterWell Primary Care Technology (AI)

Salary: $172,200–$236,900 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead engineering and technology strategy for CenterWell Primary Care product offerings and practice operations.
• Design and deploy AI capabilities including ambient documentation, chart summarization, pre-visit planning, coding assistance, inbox automation, prescription workflows, and clinical decision support.
• Own the technology roadmap for patient access, scheduling, referrals, care team workflows, intake, operational command centers, workflow automation, and practice performance tools.
• Develop operational data assets, AI-enabled insights, automation capabilities, and decision-support platforms supporting quality, risk adjustment, cost management, productivity, and growth.
• Lead transformation initiatives including EMR optimization, AI adoption, workflow modernization, acquisitions, clinic integrations, resilience, and growth enablement.
• Establish scalable, governed, and responsible AI-enabled platforms for intelligent care delivery operations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience across product development, engineering, data, analytics, and digital transformation.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams of product managers, software engineers, data scientists, UX designers, architects, and clinical informaticists.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI-enabled products and operational capabilities, including generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent workflow automation, and decision support.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare delivery workflows, especially primary care, care management, quality improvement, value-based care, and provider operations.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms, interoperability solutions, AI/ML ecosystems, FHIR, HL7, APIs, and clinical, claims, operational, and consumer-generated health data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
