Technical Manager III (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Primarily onsite at the hirify.global Melville office in Melville, New York; field responsibilities require living in or near Long Island/Queens.

Salary: USD $133,723.20–$150,000.00 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy program technology initiatives.
• Oversee CRM databases, workflows, business rules, RPA, reporting, dashboards, and the Captures database.
• Manage technology projects from concept through implementation, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Gather and document business requirements, develop BRDs, facilitate workshops and user acceptance testing, and demonstrate solutions.
• Oversee data imports, exports, migrations, mass updates, integrations, access management, security administration, and system governance.
• Mentor technical and business team members while coordinating with stakeholders, clients, vendors, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of experience managing business applications, technology solutions, or enterprise systems.
• Experience leading technology projects and cross-functional teams, with knowledge of project management methodologies and business process improvement.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation platforms, including Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Strong database management, analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, utility, or customer service programs; knowledge of related regulatory and operational requirements is preferred.
