Senior Controls Project Manager (HVAC Controls)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts. Field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations.

Annual base salary: $87,800–$157,569.99, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage project financials, administration, implementation, schedules, scope, costs, compliance, documentation, and customer satisfaction for commercial HVAC controls and building automation projects.
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for customers, internal stakeholders, technicians, team leads, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, manage change orders, facilitate corrective actions, and communicate project status and expectations.
• Create project schedules with tasks, dependencies, milestones, critical paths, resource requirements, and future planning needs.
• Manage forecasts, cash flow, expenses, collections support, cost-to-completion estimates, monthly project reviews, and corrective actions.
• Qualify and oversee subcontractors, including RFQs, awards, execution, billing expectations, safety, and project communications.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of combined experience in HVAC controls and project management, with a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management considered a plus.
• Four-year degree is not required; practical experience and relevant skills are valued.
• Proficiency in resource and manpower planning and experience leading teams with varied technical skill levels.
• Experience working with building owners is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions during the previous three years.
• Safety-sensitive role that may require additional drug screening.
