Turnkey / Energy Services Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: Latham, New York, with required travel to customer job sites within a 2–5 hour radius and overnight travel as assigned. Customer engagement is prioritized; office collaboration is required when not interacting directly with customers.

Annual base salary: $97,406.66–$156,200.00. Incentive eligible; not eligible for sales commission.

What you will do

• Manage multi-million-dollar construction project portfolios from initiation through execution, commissioning, turnover, and close-out.
• Prepare and control project schedules, budgets, buyout, permits, safety plans, risk assessments, quality plans, communications, progress reports, and financial forecasts.
• Lead general contractor activities and coordinate multiple subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, technologies, and construction trades.
• Manage project risks, cash flow, progress billing, collections support, resources, quality standards, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead owner and internal meetings and maintain project status reviews with building owners, contractors, field staff, sales, service, and operations.
• Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and maintain customer satisfaction through project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management, plus at least 3 years of construction-industry or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems, and building construction.
• Ability to prioritize independently, manage time productively, and maintain high standards of ethics, trust, and personal responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including recent DUI, reckless driving, license suspension, hit-and-run, or preventable collisions.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, work outdoors or in mechanical and equipment rooms, and operate in variable environmental conditions.

Nice to have

• OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 is preferred.
• Familiarity with financially guaranteed contracts, energy management systems, temperature controls, and process control systems.
• Mechanical HVAC design-build, estimating, or development experience.
