Rapid Repair Technician

What you will do

• Repair and service company products using hand tools and small power tools.
• Disassemble units, diagnose operating issues, replace defective parts, and determine repair feasibility.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, diagnostic, function, and quality tests.
• Read repair orders, parts schematics, specifications, and drawings, and complete repair documentation.
• Record parts used and provide data for billing and warranty information.
• Support material handling, inventory, packing, shipping, receiving, housekeeping, and safety activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• High attention to detail and basic computer and writing skills.
• One to two years of electrical and/or mechanical repair experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; team lifts are used for heavier items.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
