Electronic Repair Technician

Location: Farmingdale, NY, United States; onsite

Salary: $47,931–$75,762 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.

What you will do

• Repair semi-complex electronic equipment, including printed circuit boards, multiplexing systems, and amplifiers.
• Troubleshoot operational failures using diagnostic tests and replace or reconstruct defective components.
• Align, adjust, calibrate, and test equipment against documented performance standards.
• Apply paint or other coatings to equipment components and adjust mechanical parts.
• Review engineering change notices and maintain computer-based records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Provide technical assistance to Production, Test, Field Service, and Engineering during product investigations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of related repair technician experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Must comply with US export control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
• Ability to identify ITAR products, recognize foreign-person visitors, and follow facility access and authorization procedures.
