Repair Technician

Location: Five days a week onsite at the Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania facility, United States

Product Identification provides industrial and consumer product marking and coding solutions through printing technologies, consumables, and software.

What you will do

• Repair, test, adjust, tune, and inspect controllers, power supplies, print heads, ink systems, and related electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Operate diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, pulse generators, strobe lights, and microscopes.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, testing methods, and repair procedures.
• Monitor working-stock inventory and maintain an orderly repair area and equipment.
• Complete and file repair reports for every work order.
• Travel locally, nationally, or internationally occasionally and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of equipment repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with a wide range of hand tools; basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torches.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet applications.
• Basic analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with attention to detail and reporting.
