Forensic Structural Engineer, PE (Philadelphia, PA Area) (57632)

Location: Fully remote, with the ideal candidate based near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and supporting cases in the surrounding area. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct forensic investigations of structural damage, defects, and failures.
• Evaluate moisture intrusion, premises liability claims, and roof conditions.
• Perform site inspections and collect data for forensic analysis.
• Apply civil and structural engineering principles to assess issues and determine findings.
• Prepare technical reports and provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
• Monitor structural engineering codes, standards, and industry developments while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.
