What you will do

• Review structural plans and evaluate basis of design for PV, BESS, and HV projects.
• Collaborate with external engineering vendors to develop conceptual design approaches for foundation systems.
• Perform quality control and assurance assessments on structural deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance on pile load testing, Lpile analysis, and concrete/steel design.
• Conduct site visits and safety walks to assess structural issues during construction and operations.
• Develop tools and training to enable project engineers to review structural designs independently.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with PV and BESS design or 2+ years with HV Substation/Overhead Line design.
• Proficiency with US structural engineering standards and codes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Experience with field construction and geotechnical design.

Nice to have

• PE or SE qualifications.
• Master’s degree in structural engineering.
• Experience with Lpile, SAP2000, or STAAD.
• Spanish language skills.
• OSHA 10-hr certification.
