Maintenance Technician

Location: 16A Young St, Red Lake, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 27–29 per hour

What you will do

• Complete work orders and provide general maintenance support throughout the site.
• Maintain facilities, laboratories, equipment, grounds, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance on dust collectors, rooftop fans, ventilation hoods, onsite vehicles, and other equipment.
• Set up and dismantle pilot plants, furniture, equipment, BBQs, meetings, and other site functions.
• Transport tools, supplies, and equipment; assist skilled tradespeople with maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency situations during and after working hours to address immediate safety concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Approximately two years of experience in a related field.
• Forklift license or at least two years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions safely, accurately, and on time.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer software, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time effectively, maintain attention to detail, and work under pressure.
