Manufacturing General Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Hudson, Wisconsin, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

Pay range: $143,360–$220,160 per year

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations and full business performance of the Baer Hudson manufacturing facility.
• Own the P&L for a $100M+ operation, managing budgets, forecasts, margins, pricing, costs, and financial reporting.
• Oversee production, materials, quality, engineering, business development, and project delivery teams with 140+ direct and indirect reports.
• Deploy Toyota Production System principles and continuous improvement practices to increase efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve throughput.
• Drive customer acquisition, market expansion, quoting, stakeholder engagement, and local commercial performance.
• Develop department heads and future leaders while strengthening accountability, communication, engagement, and company culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of leadership experience running $30M–$100M manufacturing operations or a similar environment.
• Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and deploying the Toyota Production System in manufacturing.
• Strong background in P&L oversight, operational efficiency, strategic growth, and financial accountability.
• Understanding of electrical construction and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience developing high-performing leadership teams, interpreting production and financial reports, and using inventory management and business analytics tools.
