Engineering Manager

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of hirify.global, develops power equipment products including walk-behind mowers.

What you will do

• Supervise, organize, schedule, direct, evaluate, and motivate engineers throughout the product development process.
• Manage project direction across multiple new product development programs and support mature products.
• Drive product function evolution to meet consumer-driven design, cost, timing, and reliability goals.
• Lead product architecture and innovation using Concurrent Product Development principles for high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage design alternatives, technical design elements, documentation, Engineering Change Masters, and Bills of Material.
• Monitor prototype, development, engineering pilot, and test plans, and attend design and safety reviews to support phase approvals.

Requirements

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least six years of engineering experience.
• At least two years of project management experience across multiple programs.
• Ability to communicate across functional areas and internationally.
• Ability to work independently with urgency and initiative.
