Applications Engineering Manager (Polymers)

What you will do

• Lead the Application Engineering team, manage performance against defined metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop team capability and capacity through performance management and individual development objectives.
• Manage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers, design partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Support new product development, product launches, technical documentation, design standards, and product master data for ERP integration.
• Lead material development specifications and product and material validation plans to mitigate performance risks.
• Partner with operations to improve manufacturing capabilities, automation, and Smart Factory product integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
• At least 8 years of related engineering experience; customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Experience with 2D and 3D drafting and modeling software.
• Technical experience with regulatory requirements such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or NADCAP.
• Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship, U.S. nationality, lawful permanent residence, or qualifying refugee or asylum status.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
• Experience with material testing and material data analysis.
• Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
