Front-End Engineering Manager (PCB Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee Read-in, BOM, CAM, Programming, and Methods Engineering functions.
• Review customer design data, artwork, drawings, stack-ups, tolerances, panel layouts, and CAM DRCs.
• Recommend manufacturability solutions balancing customer requirements, production capabilities, and financial impact.
• Present alternative technical capabilities to customers and provide technical support to sales and field engineering.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation, capabilities matrices, process audits, and front-end metrics reporting.
• Coordinate workflow, employee performance processes, training, employee relations, safety, and collaboration with IT on script updates.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a Front-End department within the printed circuit board industry is preferred.
• Proficient understanding of IPC standards, CI modeling and calculation, and tooling generation.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, stack-ups, and CAM DRCs.
• Strong customer communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• English reading, writing, and communication skills sufficient to perform the job are required.
