Naval Program Analyst (Defense)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia, USA; remote work is available, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility possible.

Salary: $55,200–$126,000 annualized USD.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain organizational programs supporting NAVSEA.
• Review contracts and project cost accounting with key stakeholders.
• Support tactical planning using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
• Prepare formal program briefings and status reports.
• Communicate with technical warrant holders, program managers, and contract analysts.
• Help develop and maintain program strategy supporting the Navy customer’s mission.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, learn and teach, and maintain strict attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with a NAVSEA Program Office.
• Experience with Unmanned Underwater Vehicles, Unmanned Surface Vehicles, or Unmanned Expeditionary Vehicles.
• Experience preparing senior-level briefing reports for government staff or corporate leadership.
• Knowledge of the defense acquisition process and program metrics covering cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
