RFP Editor (Investment Management)

Location: Full-time remote work; must be based in the Eastern Time Zone and able to travel to the Baltimore headquarters approximately once per month.

Base salary: $101,000–$173,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Additional salary ranges apply to Washington, D.C., New York, and California. Discretionary bonus eligibility may be available.

What you will do

• Manage the full proposal process for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, from project assessment through final delivery.
• Lead the largest and most complex proposals for priority clients and support business-winning and retention objectives.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Investments, Legal, and other business units.
• Create, tailor, edit, and quality-check responses that clearly position investment products, personnel, policies, and procedures.
• Use AI and automation tools, test emerging capabilities, document best practices, and coach colleagues on technology adoption.
• Improve RFP processes, policies, content libraries, data quality, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of RFP experience, preferably in finance or investment management.
• Strong content creation and management, proposal development, product positioning, and relationship management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of investment products and services across multiple distribution channels.
• Hands-on experience using AI and software to improve business workflows, with the ability to assess data accuracy and relevance.
• English proficiency and residence in the Eastern Time Zone are required; FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment management, analytics, financial writing, or technical writing.
• Advanced knowledge of institutional portfolios, fundamental investments, and basic quantitative analysis.
• Experience mentoring junior RFP team members.
