Project Architect, Healthcare (Healthcare)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; four days in-office with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays

What you will do

• Develop creative and technically sound solutions for healthcare architecture projects.
• Coordinate drawings, specifications, and project documentation with design teams, budgets, and design intent.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and develop advanced technical solutions for complex assignments.
• Integrate QA/QC procedures, practice standards, and BIM requirements into project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and support collaborative learning.
• Participate in client presentations and maintain project schedules and work plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• At least six years of professional architecture experience.
• Professional architectural licensure required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, rendering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.
• Competence in technical design, solution evaluation, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrated project delivery or design-build models.
• Knowledge of FGI Guidelines, IBC, local healthcare codes, and AHJs.
• Familiarity with Lean practices such as Target Value Design or Choosing By Advantages.
• ACHA certification or active pursuit.
• Experience with rural hospitals, cancer centers, urgent care centers, or specialty clinics.
