What you will do

• Lead small projects through programming, planning, conceptual design, detailed design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Support large projects within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with engineering and construction personnel.
• Develop Revit/BIM models and comprehensive construction document packages, including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, life-safety, and egress plans.
• Evaluate client, programming, code, and project requirements to develop creative, constructible solutions.
• Research and apply International Building Code and other regulatory requirements.
• Participate in reviews and coordination meetings, act as Architect of Record for small projects, and mentor architectural interns and design staff.

Requirements

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, such as B.Arch, M.Arch, or D.Arch, or an equivalent Canadian or international degree.
• Architectural license in good standing in the home state, with the ability to obtain reciprocal licensure through NCARB.
• Seven years of professional architecture experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, client, and external-partner communication skills.
• Ability to travel moderately for project or training activities.

Nice to have

• NCARB Certification.
• Experience with Enscape, Rhino, or other 3D modeling and visualization software.
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations, ADA Standards, and International Building Code.
• LEED Accreditation, WELL Certification, or similar sustainability credentials.
• Experience with R&D labs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food and nutrition, or consumer products projects.
