Operator I Extruder - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Set up extrusion lines according to production schedules, bills of materials, and standard operating conditions.
• Select and install tooling and verify the correct resin before production.
• Start and operate extrusion equipment, activate drives, test initial product, and make process adjustments.
• Perform quality-control tests, verify products meet specifications, and validate that the process remains in control.
• Package and store finished products, enter production data, and clean and return tooling to stock.
• Follow applicable food-safety procedures and required personal protective equipment practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Ability to read and convert Metric and English (US Customary) measurements, including ruler measurements to the nearest quarter inch.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Availability for the 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. shift and overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification.
