Mixer Operator

Location: Western Dr, West Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: USD 21–24 per hour

What you will do

• Mix ink batches according to supervisor instructions.
• Provide samples to Quality Control, make directed batch additions, and track batch temperature.
• Deliver completed batches to mill staging areas.
• Maintain mixers through lubrication, mechanical defect reporting, and blade replacement.
• Handle and dispose of dirty solvent, label solvent tubs as flammable, and keep them grounded.
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least three months of related work experience.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts and overtime.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance background and ability to participate actively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Background in mixing, mill, pump filter, or ink manufacturing.
