Extrusion Operator - Night Shift

Location: Painesville, Ohio, USA — onsite

Salary: $25.09/hour plus a $2/hour night-shift differential

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material-handling machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures during production.
• Conduct routine tests and inspect product dimensions with calibrated measuring tools.
• Load raw materials, manage machine controls, unload finished goods, and maintain production logs.
• Identify equipment abnormalities, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements to reduce waste and rework.
• Support site safety standards and collaborate with other teams to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to accurately read precision measuring tools.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and work short-notice overtime.
• Commitment to safety, open communication, and cross-training.
• Availability for the night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3-1-3 rotation; initial 90-day training takes place on the day shift.
