Senior Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Rochester, Minnesota, United States; Remote within the United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $111,508–$167,273 annually.

What you will do

• Lead complex financial, quantitative, and strategic business analyses supporting organizational profitability and business planning.
• Analyze internal and external market, competitor, pricing, revenue, cost, margin, and billing data for service lines and new business opportunities.
• Design customized analyses, databases, reports, graphics, and strategic market plans, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Serve as the primary business analytics subject-matter expert and support BI enhancement prioritization, report design, and development.
• Collaborate with marketing managers, service line managers, administrative leaders, medical directors, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and train BI Managers, oversee high-profile analytical requests, approve selected third-party billing decisions, and present findings to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytic field and 8 years of professional experience, or an MS, MBA, or MHA in a quantitative or analytic field and 6 years of professional experience.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and create actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of basic financial accounting concepts and proficiency in preparing financial pro formas.
• Knowledge of financial concepts including time value of money and NPV.
• Operational proficiency with statistical and database manipulation tools such as SAS or SQL.

Nice to have

• Significant business experience.
• Knowledge of Mayo accounting systems, planning, and procedures.
• Experience applying statistical concepts to business problems.
• CPA, CMA, or FACHE certification.
