Senior Data Architect - Associate Director (Business Intelligence)

Location: Remote; must be authorized to work in the United States. hirify.global is not sponsoring work authorization.

Salary: $151,100–$318,600 per year.

What you will do

• Establish and deliver the enterprise information architecture vision for enterprise-level solutions.
• Lead the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse teams, including strategy, roadmaps, resource planning, delivery quality, and schedules.
• Design and oversee integrated enterprise data warehouses, BI datamarts, logical and physical data models, metadata, ETL processes, and governance standards.
• Translate strategic requirements into enterprise data models, business vocabularies, ontologies, taxonomies, and traceable information flows.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to prioritize demand, capacity, adoption, continuous improvement, and value realization.
• Mentor developers, data engineers, managers, and other team members while establishing BI and data warehousing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data/Information Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and M language.
• 2+ years of experience with Python or another programming language.
• 4+ years of experience managing projects from inception to execution.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, derive workable actions, build relationships, facilitate discussions, drive issues to closure, and manage multiple shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, time management, and self-management skills.
• Understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
• Authorization to work in the United States; work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer certification.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, data quality, related technology landscapes, processes, and design principles.
• Experience operating large data warehouse and business intelligence programs.
• Experience managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization.
• Familiarity with cloud and data management trends and methodologies.
• Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current-state solutions, compare technologies, and make recommendations to senior team members.
