What you will do

• Identify and meet with prospects referred by realtors, developers, and internal sources.
• Explain mortgage products and services to customers based on their individual needs.
• Guide customers through the entire mortgage application process from start to finish.
• Ensure all loan applications are completed accurately with required supporting documentation.
• Manage customer expectations regarding processing times and closing dates.
• Communicate loan decisions and coordinate with underwriters, processors, and closing agents.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for NMLS registration as a registered mortgage loan originator.
• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience.
• Proven sales ability and strong negotiation skills.
• Must pass criminal background and credit report checks as required by federal law.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use mortgage origination and automated underwriting systems.
