Maintenance Supervisor (Packaging Manufacturing)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, United States

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year, depending on technical certifications, maintenance management experience, and box plant maintenance experience.

What you will do

• Plan, estimate, schedule, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance for plant equipment, machinery, and service systems.
• Supervise maintenance, mechanical, and electrical staff while coordinating production activities and machine downtime.
• Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are completed and repairs are finished on schedule.
• Manage parts and supply inventory with a focus on cost controls and establish maintenance budgets.
• Recommend capital improvements and assist with the design and installation of new equipment.
• Train maintenance staff to troubleshoot corrugator equipment and perform mechanical and electrical repairs safely.

Requirements

• Associate degree or completed certification in production maintenance.
• At least 5 years of experience in equipment and electrical maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, mathematical, analytical, and maintenance troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of corrugated and packaging equipment and manufacturing systems, including shop-floor software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Supervisory experience in coaching, training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with manufacturing safety practices.
