AVP, Global Credit Finance - Liquid Credit Funds

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite

Base salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support fund management across finance, operations, tax, fund accounting, and financial reporting for liquid credit closed-end carry funds.
• Coordinate fund and deal closings, entity formation, legal entity approvals, tax documentation, LP onboarding, and diligence requests.
• Oversee fund-level cash management, credit facility activity, compliance monitoring, capital calls, distributions, carry waterfalls, management fees, and investor allocations.
• Review valuation models, fund performance metrics, revenue projections, budgets, forecasts, quarterly closes, financial statements, and investor reporting materials.
• Coordinate audit requests, SOX and SOC1 testing, tax reporting, K-1 reviews, and external tax middle-office activities.
• Interact with investors and corporate accounting while managing and developing junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance concentration preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with alternatives, fund accounting, and SMA structures.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with an emphasis on corporate consolidations.
• Knowledge of structured credit and/or structured finance; private credit or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, ownership, and people-management skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience in private credit or public accounting.
• Understanding of valuation techniques for liquid and illiquid credit products.
