AVP, Global Credit Finance - Liquid Credit Funds

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year, plus benefits and potential annual discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support finance, operations, tax, fund accounting, and financial reporting for closed-end liquid credit funds.
• Coordinate fund and deal closings, legal entity formation, LP onboarding, tax documentation, and investment program operations.
• Manage fund-level cash, capital calls and distributions, carry waterfall analysis, management fees, investor allocations, and compliance monitoring.
• Review valuation models, quarterly fund closes, financial statements, carry calculations, capital statements, and investor reporting materials.
• Coordinate audits, SOX and SOC1 testing, tax reporting, public company disclosures, budgeting, revenue projections, and expense reimbursements.
• Lead process and technology enhancements while managing and developing junior team members.

Requirements

• Must work in New York, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting or finance concentration preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with alternatives, fund accounting, SMA structures, private credit, or public accounting.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, corporate consolidations, structured credit, and/or structured finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills; CPA preferred.
