TL;DR
Senior Analyst, Finance (Investment Management): Managing global revenue accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue analysis with an accent on US GAAP, financial controls, and international collaboration. Focus on identifying revenue drivers and risks, implementing process improvements, and supporting offshore transitions, software implementations, and AUM reporting.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid workplace model with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

  • Account for global revenues and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Analyze revenue results and trends, identify key drivers, and communicate variances across global business units.
  • Coordinate accounting projects, including strategic initiatives and software implementations.
  • Identify risks and process improvements, implement approved solutions, and maintain required controls.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and review revenue recognition and invoice preparation activities.
  • Support transitions to the offshore shared service center through process documentation, training resources, and post-transition support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience, preferably Record-to-Report experience in investment management or public accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial principles under US GAAP.
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements and control environments.
  • Strong Excel skills and hands-on general ledger experience, including journal entries, account analysis, period-end close, and complex balance sheet reconciliations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Oracle Financials.
  • CPA designation, candidacy, or active pursuit of CPA certification.
