Loan Portfolio Manager (Consumer Lending)

What you will do

• Support consumer loan customers, bankers, branches, and call center associates with loan-related inquiries.
• Prepare, review, execute, fund, and maintain consumer loan documentation.
• Service consumer loan relationships and manage loan renewals, payment activity, and maturity reports.
• Follow up with customers, insurance agents, title companies, and bankers to resolve missing documentation and outstanding exceptions.
• Communicate and negotiate approved credit terms, repayment schedules, costs, and collateral requirements with applicants.
• Maintain complete files and follow lending policies, procedures, laws, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a financial institution, banking operations, or loan servicing environment.
• Basic understanding of loan documentation, lending procedures, and banking regulations.
• Excellent telephone, customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, exercise judgment, and manage problematic situations diplomatically.
• Experience with MS Office and banking operating systems or similar systems.
