Technical Service Supervisor (Construction)

Location: Bethany, Connecticut, United States; onsite role with 25% travel

What you will do

• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate technical service representatives, including attendance management, staff meetings, and performance reviews.
• Analyze technical service activities, identify trends and needs, and coordinate incoming service and training requests.
• Advise architects, contractors, and distributors on material selection, architectural details, specifications, and installation procedures.
• Create, review, and approve technical data sheets, advisories, literature, and industry articles.
• Investigate and resolve customer service and product complaints within authorized limits.
• Coordinate field support, job site assistance, technical service NAPs, management reviews, and audits at satellite facilities.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• At least 3 years of technical support experience with building materials or products.
• Supervisory and management skills with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of architecture, construction methods, construction practices, materials, and the hirify.global product line.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Outlook skills, plus functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne and CRM OnDemand are preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience; ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
