Generative AI Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Downtown Chicago office at Merchandise Mart; hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Salary: USD $165,000–$185,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• Prototype and pilot AI use cases using data from Databricks and available AI tooling.
• Deploy AI copilots, agents, and automation for internal workflows such as customer support, underwriting, and analytics.
• Partner with business units to identify, prioritize, and validate AI opportunities and shape the AI roadmap.
• Drive organization-wide AI enablement through use-case repositories, enablement sessions, and AI literacy initiatives.
• Define and monitor adoption, efficiency, and quality metrics to guide iteration and scaling.
• Establish standards for AI safety, compliance, governance, and responsible use with Product, Data, and Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product or program management, ideally in technology or fintech.
• Experience taking concepts from zero to shipped solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
• Comfort with SQL and data platforms such as Databricks.
• Ability to connect business workflows, data pipelines, and AI opportunities and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Ability to work from the Chicago office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday as part of the hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience embedding generative AI into customer-facing fintech or data-driven products.
• Familiarity with LangChain, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
• Hands-on Databricks experience with data pipelines, machine learning models, or AI experimentation.
• Track record of shipping AI-powered tools professionally or independently.
