Product Manager, AI Strategy (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NYC-Metro, United States, with regular in-office collaboration and onsite deployments.

Base compensation: $150,000–$190,000 annually, plus annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary product interface for finance-sector customers and translate their needs into structured product workstreams.
• Lead discovery across customer engagements, gather requirements, define MVPs, and guide solution implementation.
• Translate customer workflows into technical integration requirements and product specifications for engineering.
• Partner with full-stack engineers to build secure, scalable integrations with financial systems.
• Participate in hands-on deployments to support onboarding and product adoption.
• Prioritize and launch product features quickly in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in product, strategy, consulting, or similar roles in financial services.
• Understanding of financial systems and data flows, with experience in finance, fintech, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong exposure to technical concepts and experience working closely with full-stack or infrastructure engineers.
• Ability to build prototypes using AI coding tools; software development is not required.
• Comfort interfacing with clients, unblocking deployments, structuring ambiguous problems, and working across multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in New York with regular in-office collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or in investment banking.
• Educational or professional background in finance, investment management, or private equity from a top institution.
