Software Engineer Intern

Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Berlin, Germany

Overview

hirify.global is a fast-growing startup focused on automated decisioning in financial services. The role is for Computer Science students passionate about distributed systems, offering growth opportunities in backend or frontend development within a hybrid work environment.

What you will do

• Work on backend Python/FastAPI or frontend React/Typescript components in a serverless AWS environment.
• Participate in team rituals including daily syncs, planning, demos, and technical discussions.
• Learn from experienced engineers and contribute to foundational product layers.

Requirements

• Work onsite 3 days/week in Berlin, Germany; relocation not covered
• Fluency in English required
• Strong engineering fundamentals and passion for simplicity
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, networking, distributed systems, and databases

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Lambda
• Frontend development experience with React or similar
