Senior Software Engineer (AI Cloud)

Nebius builds a full-stack AI cloud platform for data and model training, inference, and production deployment, with infrastructure spanning compute, storage, networking, and applied AI.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the Capacity and Quota Management control plane for GPU and cloud resource allocation.
• Develop capacity reservation functionality, including reservation lifecycles, rebalancing, and automatic reclamation.
• Design quota management across Nebius services and support customer quota requests.
• Implement resource distribution algorithms and APIs for customers, internal users, and downstream services.
• Own technical foundations, architecture decisions, and long-term tradeoffs for the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python or the ability to become productive quickly with the technology stack.
• Experience building distributed backend systems and microservice architectures.
• Understanding of distributed transactions, consistency models, and reliable asynchronous workflows.
• Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset.
• Authorization to work in the Netherlands is required for this application.
