Software Engineering Intern (Data and AI)

What you will do

• Build features for the Databricks platform with a team of engineers.
• Manage an assigned project end to end, including design, implementation, and incorporating feedback.
• Contribute across areas such as full stack, backend, infrastructure, systems, tools, cloud, databases, and customer-facing products.
• Learn how to build a rapidly scaling platform while maintaining quality and security.

Requirements

• Graduate between fall 2027 and summer 2028 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Implementation experience with a general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability and motivation to solve ambiguous problems collaboratively.
• This is a summer 12-week internship; co-ops are available only to students enrolled in a co-op program.
