Senior Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with three days per week in the office. Remote work abroad is available for up to 30 days.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for campaign optimization products.
• Develop high-impact AI and machine learning solutions for advertising and creative workflows.
• Support data scientists in deploying machine learning models to production.
• Improve software architecture, coding practices, testing, monitoring, and development processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, customers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into viable solutions.
• Contribute to planning and retrospectives, share knowledge, pair program, debug, and mentor teammates.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills and 5+ years of experience developing and deploying production-quality software.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience developing and maintaining services under SLA.
• Analytical, adaptable, and resilient approach to solving customer and architectural challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work three days per week from the Berlin office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts and tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Relevant M.Sc. degree.
