Assistant Community Manager

Location: Copper Beech Bowling Green, Bowling Green, Ohio, United States; work is performed at the assigned property. Periodic travel and additional non-traditional hours may be required during peak times, emergencies, and inclement weather. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Support the General Manager with daily operations, business functions, policies, emergencies, and resident matters.
• Help recruit, train, coach, schedule, and retain onsite team members, including after-hours on-call coverage.
• Manage resident accounts, utility billing, receivables, notices, collections, audits, and eviction-related documentation.
• Oversee property condition, inspections, preventative maintenance, work orders, vendors, safety, and compliance with standards and codes.
• Coordinate the annual turnover process, including move-out inspections, damage assessments, room assignments, move-ins, vendor walks, and unit preparation.
• Lead customer experience and sales activities, including market surveys, marketing initiatives, resident concerns, reviews, feedback analysis, and revenue goals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in living communities or property management.
• Proficiency with property management systems; Entrata is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Availability for daytime business hours with additional non-traditional hours when required.
