Location: Houston, Texas, United States. This is an onsite industrial engineering role with up to 25% travel. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.
Base salary: $160,200–$195,800 per year.

What you will do
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, governance documents, and maintenance practices for medium- and low-voltage electrical technology.
- Support operations, engineering, optimization, procurement, and project teams with capital and maintenance priorities and manage the Electrical Capital Program.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment, manage power demand, support demand response, and recommend technologies that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
- Lead site Electrical Health Assessments and provide technical guidance for power generation, distribution, instrumentation, automation, SCADA, and electrical system projects.
- Support HSE audits, Electrical Arc Flash Program compliance, and Electrical Safe Work Practices under OSHA 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E.
- Coordinate training for instrumentation and electrical personnel and represent Midstream in API, ISA, IEEE, and PCIC industry committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial settings.
- At least 5 years of experience with electrical design and construction for equipment in a related industry.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Expertise in interpreting ISA, NFPA, NEMA, NETA, IEEE, PIP, API, and OSHA codes and standards.
Nice to have
- Experience with power generation, power management, industrial electrical systems, and field Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance.
- Experience managing capital, major maintenance, and operating expense budgets.
- Hands-on knowledge of SEL protective relays, SEL networks, HMI systems, large motors and motor controls, switchgear, substations, and electrical protection systems.
- Experience with ETAP electrical analysis software.
