Sr. Product Service and Sustaining Engineer, Electrical (Electrolyzer)

What you will do

• Lead the development and validation of service engineering deliverables for new electrolyzer products.
• Define service BOMs, spare parts plans, maintenance procedures, tools, equipment, commissioning procedures, and fault-handling processes.
• Drive design-for-service, reliability, maintainability, and service cost improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support internal and customer troubleshooting, system testing, validation, repairs, and root cause analysis during deployments and fleet operations.
• Develop onboard and remote diagnostic and prognostic capabilities to identify emerging problems and appropriate field responses.
• Provide technical training and collaborate with engineering, service technicians, customers, and third-party suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, systems, or controls engineering.
• 5–10 years of related work experience.
• Experience with complex electromechanical systems and the ability to diagnose failure modes and operational performance issues.
• Ability to analyze engineering data and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID drawings, and related project drawings.
• Ability to manage complex projects, multitask effectively, communicate clearly, and work independently.
• Ability to travel 30–50% as needed for customer support and product development programs.

Nice to have

• Experience with medium- or high-voltage systems and power electronics.
• System controls experience, including PLC or embedded systems.
• Experience with rectifier and transformer packages, industrial gas plants, or similar systems.
