Manufacturing Manager (Adhesives)

Location: Windsor, Connecticut, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and development objectives.
• Plan staffing, work schedules, production activities, and short- and long-range operational programs.
• Lead, support, train, and cross-train production employees while overseeing performance management.
• Review production variances, scrap, and cycle count reports to improve accuracy and operational performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, quality, engineering, HR, warehouse, R&D, and finance activities supporting plant operations.
• Initiate and coordinate plant layout changes, capital equipment installation, major repairs, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in coating, adhesive, or chemical manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement practices and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient computer skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Lean training.
• Experience with SAP.
