Healthcare Consulting Senior Director - Mid Revenue Cycle

Location: Remote, United States; based in Chicago - 550 Van Buren. Travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is required, with current Healthcare practice travel averaging less than 50% annually. US work authorization required.

Base salary: $225,000–$275,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive opportunity: $281,000–$371,000.

What you will do

• Lead complex healthcare performance improvement engagements and ensure successful client outcomes.
• Improve mid revenue cycle processes, including coding, charge capture, revenue integrity, and payer reimbursement.
• Monitor and enhance financial metrics such as case mix index, late charges, DNFB, and net revenue.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgets, forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
• Quantify benefits, identify risks, and develop solutions using analytical and critical thinking.
• Build executive relationships, lead change initiatives, present customized solutions, and support sales efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of progressive healthcare management consulting experience.
• Experience leading revenue cycle improvement projects involving service capture, CDM, coding, billing, and reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of process redesign, technology enhancement, workflow automation, and performance management for revenue cycle operations.
• Direct supervisory experience with individuals and large, complex teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. US work authorization required.
