Salary: $120,000 – $165,000

What you will do
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on Maryland hospital quality programs (QBR, MHAC, RRIP) and their interaction with CMS national programs.
- Educate hospital leadership and clinical teams on regulatory policy changes and evolving quality requirements.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in domains like mortality, readmissions, and patient experience.
- Facilitate quality improvement workgroups and develop actionable workplans for hospital clients.
- Partner with physicians and nursing leaders to drive the adoption of evidence-based practices.
- Advise clients on the financial impact of quality performance, including revenue at risk and potential penalties.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in acute care hospital settings with a focus on clinical quality and performance improvement.
- Direct experience with Maryland’s hospital quality and payment environment, including HSCRC TCOC, QBR, MHAC, and RRIP.
- Must be able to verify legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Proven ability to present complex regulatory information to executive and clinical audiences.
- Experience partnering with interdisciplinary teams to drive sustainable clinical behavior change.
