Senior Managing Consultant (Healthcare Revenue Integrity)

Location: Remote - USA; consistent travel of 50%–75% is required depending on project requirements and client expectations.

Salary: $166,000–$199,000 per year.

What you will do

• Assess charge generation and charge capture workflows to identify revenue leakage and compliance risks.
• Review and draft Revenue Integrity policies and procedures and develop improvement recommendations.
• Research and analyze literature, industry resources, transactional data, financial data, and client databases.
• Develop financial analyses, computer models, and client-ready deliverables.
• Execute workplans, oversee engagement workstream initiatives, and coordinate internal meetings.
• Manage existing client relationships, support business expansion, and collaborate with Revenue Integrity specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of consulting or industry experience in Revenue Integrity or Charge Integrity, including performance improvement, revenue management, reimbursement, and recovery strategies.
• Operational expertise in Charge Description Master management, charge capture, revenue integrity, denials prevention, HIM/coding, outpatient clinical documentation improvement, and payer contracting.
• Knowledge of Medicare IPPS, OPPS, and ASC payment systems, charge reconciliation, charging compliance, regulatory changes, clinical operations, and billing workflows.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH, and Athena/IDX. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Applicable industry certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CCS, CRIP, or another AHIMA, AAPC, or AAHAM certification.
