Materials Management Intern (Summer 2027 or Year Round)

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Compile data from ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other sources to support Plan for Every Part decision-making.
• Analyze value streams and apply PFEP principles to reduce excess material handling within and between facilities and local suppliers.
• Support the standardization, advancement, and implementation of lean material flow strategies.
• Work with Materials and Operations to implement lean manufacturing techniques that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports and perform data analytics to interpret materials data.
• Support continuous improvement events and 5S activities.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Operations or Manufacturing Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field throughout the internship.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Minimum preferred GPA of 3.0.
