Logistics Intern / Hybrid Co-op (Transportation Management)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Full 40-hour work week. Relocation is available. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $18.00–$27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support Transportation Management System and logistics technology initiatives through data validation, testing, process documentation, and user acceptance activities.
• Analyze and map data across logistics systems, order management platforms, carrier data, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Logistics, IT, Procurement, Operations, Finance, carriers, and freight forwarders on requirements and project execution.
• Document current- and future-state workflows, identify process improvements, and maintain SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
• Support carrier onboarding, supplier integration, EDI activities, master data management, and troubleshooting of system issues.
• Research logistics best practices, automation opportunities, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, transportation, logistics, or operations concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with data.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Current United States work authorization required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ERP, TMS, OMS, or WMS platforms such as Oracle/OTM, SAP, or Manhattan.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or other analytics and data visualization tools.
• Experience with data cleansing, data mapping, workflow documentation, user testing, or system integration projects.
• Interest in logistics technology, digital transformation, process improvement, automation, and transportation optimization.
